Worth the
day trip

Both properties make a great base for the things that bring people to Western Greece.

01

Ancient Olympia

25–45 min drive. The original Olympic Games site, remarkably un-touristy if you arrive early.

02

Ionian Beaches

15–25 min. Long sandy stretches, warm calm water, rarely crowded even in August.

03

Katakolo Port

A working harbour town where fishermen still set out at dawn. Great tavernas for fresh fish.
